This year's Global HCIE Night featured technical exchange sessions where experts discussed industry trends in intelligent computing, networking, data storage, and the capability requirements for high-quality services. At the event, Huawei, in collaboration with the Talent Exchange Center of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, officially launched the ICT Talent Evaluation Action Plan. Honorary awards were presented to outstanding HCIE experts and organizations, including the HCIE Ten-Year Special Contribution Award for globally recognized long-serving technical professionals. Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to work with clients, partners, and HCIE experts to drive the intelligent transformation of the ICT industry.

Elite Gathering Focusing on Industry Trends

At the beginning of the event, Mr. Sun Haiyang, Chief Marketing Officer of Huawei Global Technical Services Department, delivered an opening speech. He first extended sincere gratitude to the customers, partners, and HCIE experts who have given Huawei trust and support for a long time. This year, the number of Huawei certified engineers has exceeded one million, reaching a new milestone; HCIE experts actively play a crucial role in various industries and have gained wide recognition and respect from society and all sectors. Finally, he stated: "The rapid development of artificial intelligence is driving the segmentation of talent and the iteration of standards. From the construction of intelligent computing clusters, model and application development to the operation and maintenance of computing power platforms, every role requires more professional and in-depth AI skills. During Huawei Connect 2025, Huawei will release the ICT Digital and Intelligent Skills Map in the AI field, which clearly defines the work scenarios and skill requirements of various artificial intelligence positions, providing precise guidance for ICT practitioners to enhance their AI skills."

Ren Lihua, Deputy Director of the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a speech, pointing out: "Artificial intelligence (AI) has moved from concept to various industries. Digital transformation such as large models and computing power networks has become a mandatory course for the industry. Industrial intelligence has entered a critical stage from 'extensive coverage' to 'in-depth empowerment', and talent demand presents three major trends: 1. The demand for interdisciplinary talents with 'industry knowledge + AI technology' has surged; 2. Higher requirements are placed on system-level architecture and cross-domain integration capabilities; 3. Security, credibility, greenness and low carbon have become 'must-haves' for digitalization, and the talent gap in related fields is widening." The future talent competency model is accelerating the shift from "single-tech-focused" to "tech + business + strategy interdisciplinary".
